The Private Sector Development Blog has a number of great links to information sources on World Water Week and water issues in general: water management, scarcity, agricultural usage, the impacts of global food trade, microfinance and water, drinking water, etc. etc.
At Stolen Moments of Island Time, an overview of thoughts by Dayna Schueth about achieving a sustainable lifestyle, of which water is just one part.
A couple of days ago, the opening ceremony of a potable water system rehabilitation project took place in the Charkhirli village in Azerbaijan.
That's about all I could find in my inbox on water issues. Clare at Exceptional Lives had something on a water project in South Africa that I saw the other day, but for some reason I'm not able to access her blog right now. I did get an e-mail from Clare about the next leg of her journey: India. She's looking for suggestions of social enterprise and entrepreneurial projects in India that really stand out and would be worth covering. I have a few ideas of my own that I'll pass along to her, but I thought I'd also send a shout out to other readers to drop by and let her know of any interesting projects she could take a look at. Or you could comment here as well.
