Just a round up of sustainable development news as I clean out my backlog of items here today.

*PricewaterhouseCoopers has identified six trends that will drive sustainable development over the next decade in their report: "Corporate Responsibility: Strategy, Management and Value." More on this report at EurActive.

*The United Nations has also recently released a report called "Trends in Sustainable Development."

*Jeffrery Sachs headlined a conference in Delhi on "Sustainable Competitiveness: Fostering Development" ... coverage here at the Indian Express.

*Others take note that administrate and judicial reforms in India must also take place for sustainable development and democracy to coexist.

*The Nordic Council of Ministers is inviting applications for sustainable development grants. Deadline is 1 May.

*China's coal industry has been urged to embrace sustainable development.

*The Nigeria International Book Fair this May 8th through 13th will focus on HIV/AIDS and sustainable development. More on sustainable development news in Nigeria here.

*Backing literacy as a way to way to support sustainable social and Economic development.
