To date, Software University presentations recorded and published with Camtasia Studio from the 2005 event have been downloaded more than 50,000 times, attesting to their enormous popularity and usefulness across the company.

The great success IBM has had with using Camtasia Studio at Software University also prompted the company to rollout Camtasia Studio along with a step-by-step user's guide, to its worldwide technical salespeople in 2005 to create software demonstrations for customers and business partners. In 2006, Camtasia Studio will be used again for Software University and this time for more than double the number of hours of education sessions recorded at the 2005 event.
