Oh Noes!!1!

I'm not sure if you have heard about the LOL Catz fad (how ever they want to spell that), but I'm having a hard time deciding whether it's cute or annoying. To an extent it seems to encourage poor spelling and perhaps even helps dumbing down beauty competition entrants, as this particular LOL Cat depicts - ironically enough.
And I'm not even sure if this has been made better or worse because LOL Catz has now become a programming language. Yes, lolcode is under construction as we speak.
If you will remember, about ten years ago there was ebonix - and although I laughed for entirely different reasons (I'm sorry, but "skreet" just sounds silly), it was also partly cute, but mostly just annoying. Or am I annoyed purely due to my attachment to writing proper English?
Gosh. Am I just that stuck up? Oh noes!!1!
