Sometimes an enterprise can have relatively questionable tactics, but otherwise offer something quite positive to the consumer. Kevin Trudeau and his slew of books on natural cures is one such enterprise.

One of his books, Natural Cures " They" Don't Want You to Know About, has received a few scathing reviews. However, the problem is not necessarily his book, but the reader's mindset.

People today seem to be stuck in the "quick fix" syndrome - wanting everything to be perfect right now with zero work. That's all fine well and good, but every shortcut is simply a shortcut to living, which is simply a quicker way to die.

Everything that is right for the body takes time, patience, and work. Of course, that applies to more than just your body - but I bet hardly anyone wants to face that reality. Kevin Trudeau knows all of this, and so do the people who publish and market his books - therefore, he uses a bit of marketing genius to push his books.

The problem with this, however, is the marketing and product are in conflict with each other, and he attempts to change the very mindset which drew the consumer to purchase his book in the first few chapters. This tends to make some people believe the book was falsely advertised, like that person who wrote the scathing review.

"Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About" is not so much a book about natural cures as it is a book about health freedom and the fight to get it back. Yes, we have indeed lost our freedom to have a healthy lifestyle.

If this is not evident to you, just ask yourself how you would rather treat constipation. Do you head to the drug store for a chemical cocktail when you become constipated, or do you stay away from white flour, white sugar, refined food, drink 10 glasses of distilled water daily, eat 5 apples a day, and eat prunes regularly?

Then if you do get constipated, do you use colonics, perform a candida and colon cleanse, take probiotics and digestive enzymes, or have an herbatini with raw apple cider vinegar with mother, hot peppers, and ginger?

It just makes sense that if you have lots of foot pain because you hit your foot with a hammer three times a day, that you cure the foot pain by refraining from hitting your foot with a hammer. You would be amazed how few people understand that concept.

And THAT is what Kevin Trudeau is trying to change.
