GOOD Magazine has released a very cool video (you can see it below) on the significant negative impact which E-Waste is having on our world. This effect is especially very high in developing countries in Asia and Africa. The video provides a set of facts and figures which are shocking!
I think if there is any of our readers who is looking for an idea to start a social enterprise, reducing E-Waste is a great one; you can establish start ups in developing countries to collect and deliver E-Waste back to electronics companies, establish technology start ups to develop materials for E&HT sector which can be recycled or help educating people in developing countries about the way to treat E-Waste.
Do you know any successful examples of such initiatives already up and running in the market?
