How to Go Green
Methods for converting your car to biodiesel and putting solar panels on your house are all well and good - for someone who actually has the money to do that kind of stuff. I can't do that on a blogger's salary! Although, I am saving all kinds of CO-2 emissions by shelling all those peanuts they pay me by hand.

What's your cost-effective and affordable way of going green? Instructables wants to know - and they're holding a contest to pick out who does it the best. How do you reduce, reuse, recycle, reporpose, recycle, and rebuild? Post your creative ideas and you just might win a mention in popular science magazine, hybrid commuter bicycle, hybrid solar charger, 1-year subscription to Popular Science magazine, or a really neat t-shirt.

Judging
All contest entries will be judged for merit. Judges will evaluate each Instructable for the following:

* environmental impact
* completeness (photos and text for all important steps, video as necessary)
* clear, concise text description including a properly summarized introduction
* clear photographs (2+ megapixel preferred), use macro mode for close up shots
* use of photo-notes where appropriate
* list of parts and tools required (if appropriate)
* safety notes (if appropriate)
* usefulness
* creativity
* cost
* technical merit
