Tesla's high performance electric car featured in Pure Electric (Horse)Power has asked for another $40 million to get the tech right, according to Earth2Tech (via TechCrunch).
Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) has urged the FDA to release a final assessment on the safety of cloned livestock. As mentioned in Losing My Appetite for Food Regulation Part 1, you can rest assured that any "assessment" will be done as per the status quo - sloppily, and against the best interests and wishes of consumers.

W00t! China got a clue - they are requiring a quality safety label on all food before it can gain market access - just like I said they should do in Losing My Appetite for Food Regulation Part 2.
