Just a roundup of stories on development in China today. I've seen more and more stories out there on CSR and sustainable development in China lately, so it's worth posting more on this.
*Intel unveils IT scheme for China's rural clinics, via China Daily and e-Development.
*Nepotism surely doesn't help ... A report that 90 percent of China's new billionaires are children of senior party officials, via Salon and China Digital Times.
*China to nearly double its African aid portfolio as well as become the biggest lender in Africa, larger than the World Bank. Some interesting news here at the One Laptop Per Child blog about Libya and China donating laptops.
*Startech Environmental Corporation to start production of a Plasma Converter System in Northeast China to destroy hazardous waste, via WorldWire.
*Deloitte sets sights on sustainable development practices in China.
