Cause and Effect
A recent commenter noted that this blog seems to be more about international politics and globalisation than social entreprise. I invite conversation on this, but I would like to make note of something in my defense.

Here at Audeamus I report on what is going on that affects social entreprise, and what Social enterpriselinks has affected, in addition to the social enterprises themselves. Who would I help if I only told you about so and so entrepreneur taking care of such and such problem? Really?

My point here is, I am trying to show the direction of social enterprise. Not only what still needs to be attended to, such as the AIDS pandemic, but also what they have accomplished, such as global warming becoming a major issue in the G-8. Not to mention what is going on around social enterprise, such as the politics that may or may not limit their ability to conduct business.

Yes, you could have simply read a newspaper to see what is going on at the G-8, but I saved you the trouble, and gave you the part that matters to social entrepreneurs. My official job is to report on social enterprise, but I'm taking that a step further, and seeking to actually help social enterpreneurs conduct business, in addition to assisting the social bottom line by reporting on what will affect consumers.

So tell me again, has this blog gone off track?
