A Change in Format: Requesting Your Two Cents

What This Means for You
In short, you might find some of the changes to be a bit annoying. This post exemplifies what I hope to maintain in this blog - so if you find this post annoying, you will find the rest of the blog annoying.
Please don't hesitate to let me know about it, okay?
Secondly, the information you find here is going to change a little. Maybe it will be worse, maybe it will be better - but it will certainly be more on par with what is useful to you, right here, right now.
Only the first 100 to 200 words will be visible on the main page. While I wish to do this for brevity and beauty, I understand it may be annoying. This is your chance to speak up against it, or forever hold your peace.
The rest of the changes to layout will be considerably less noticeable. Little things, like image placement, title formatting, paragraph length, and the like will be made more uniform.
Editorial Bent
First of all, that unwieldy blogroll to the right has got to go. Expect to see that get abbreviated in the coming weeks and narrowed down to about 30 top blogs and sources.
I am also going to be implementing a strict set of guidelines for the posts here. The content has been somewhat hit or miss in my opinion, and for that I apologize.
As soon as I get the chance, I will get those new guidelines set in stone. MasterNewMedia.org and ToTheCenter.com keep me pretty busy though.
You can expect to see a theme emerge in the coming weeks of different but specific sources for information. Other themes will include specific types of posts in a certain order, since I want to touch on every section of this blog on a more regular basis.
